My departure from The Mill

• I'm writing to let you know I've transferred my lease to Nancy Dole and have left The Mill.
  

  I want to be clear about why I was there in the first place and why I left:

  I only moved to The Mill because Katherine Hennessy got me structurally evicted from my previous place of nine years on State Street through false accusations. This has prevented me from doing my artwork for over five years.  The seemingly Dark Triad psychopath then continued her harassment here, writing defamatory letters to my landlord that contributed to making my situation untenable.

  Katherine Hennessy and Brooke Batteau are currently facing a criminal show-cause hearing for assault and battery and malicious destruction of property. But as the comprehensive documentation shows, the criminal conduct extends far beyond these charges to include: multiple provable perjuries of false statements in court filings, harassment and stalking across multiple years, repeated false police reporting (8-10 disproven reports between 2020-2023), and tortious interference with business and personal relationships. The pattern is systematic, coordinated, and well-documented.

  In six years there, not one person offered support or questioned the false narrative being spread about me - that I hate women, that I hate Black people, that I harass people. All of this is demonstrably false.

  Some of you may have witnessed moments where I appeared upset or raised my voice. What you didn't see was what preceded those moments: being stonewalled, dismissed, insulted, or refused basic communication after being falsely accused. When someone walks away from you after saying something vicious or refusing any dialogue, that refusal to engage becomes its own form of abuse - it's called "walk-away DARVO" (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender). The person who caused the harm walks away, and you're left looking like the aggressor for reacting to trauma they inflicted.

  If you witnessed any of this and formed negative opinions of me based on those isolated moments, you were also a victim of manipulation. You were led to a false conclusion by people who weaponized your perception. My landlord assumed the attackers' position without ever hearing my side. That's how this pattern works.

  This destruction of my life was systemic and institutional:

  The Bridge of Flowers Committee - Before any of this began, longtime committee member Joanne Soroka sent me a threatening email (August 26, 2019) stating "I am pretty sure the thread where people thought you were the next to shoot up a place will be enough" and "You don't know who you are fucking with... You are dead to me. Only when you call my name out, will I reawaken and I promise it will get ugly." For six years I pleaded with Bridge of Flowers leadership, who supported a defamatory petition against me,  to acknowledge their role in what followed. Recently Annette Spila, the 5+ year committee chair, denied twice that she was involved in my life's destruction. Bridge of Flowers members meet two doors down from me at The Mill with apparently no remorse.

  The Greenfield Recorder - Refused to retract false statements that contributed to the conspiracy against my reputation, amplifying defamatory claims without verification or giving me opportunity to respond.  They did that while promoting my attackers with several good hearted promotional stories, and publshing an op ed from the editor where she pontificates about truthful journalism.  She ignored the fact that it was committee member Kay Berenson, former Recorder publisher and self styled fake news guru, who led the charge against my work in secret Zoom meetings, without ever contacting me, the longtime artistic contributor to the bridge.

  
  

  Shelburne Police Department - Hauled me into court for a criminal harassment show-cause hearing without ever talking to me or meeting me. I received a finding of no probable cause. Meanwhile, the actual criminal Hennessey who filed false reports faced no consequences.  Who dragged me into that bogus 4th and 14th amendment violating hearing?  Detective Jenkins who recently was fired from Mohawk High School for a relationship with an 18 year old student.  Yes he is still employed as a detective with the praises of the select board, who apparently were cool with him deleting texts and refusing to talk to investigators.  Read all about it here, and in the Recorder.

  The Courts - Two judges denied my harassment prevention order attempts against the victimizers, enabling all the further harassment and ultimately the violent assault throughout 2025.  In my view those judges violated my constitiutional rights, allowing the crime family to act wth impunity, knowing the courts were allowing it.  The November 30th attacks are directly a result of those judges' denial of my HPOs despite evidence, enabling 2025 assault escalation.

  
  

  This wasn't just a few bad actors. This was allowed by the committee. It was allowed by the newspaper. It was allowed by the police. And by proxy, it was allowed by every single person who knew about it. Not one person came to my side, including numerous of my former best friends.

  I gave up my space with over a year left on my lease so that Nancy could have it. That's the kind of person I actually am.
