Good sir,
You wrote: “I hope you will discover the benefits of speaking directly with your fellow citizens before prejudicing the conversation with social media posts.”
I do speak directly with my fellow citizens — frequently and in person. What I hear, over and over, is that most people agree with the analyses I’ve been making. They usually complain that if they spoke up about the delicate and explosive issues, their businesses and reputations might get destroyed, citing my own life destruction committed by many in this place, including the Bridge of Flowers Committee, the SPD, the Recorder, and the select board members who have wholesale ignored my pleas.
Consequently that led to the assault and battery committed against me in November 2025 by Brook Batteau and Catherine Hennessey. They were arraigned on April 7, 2026.The people who started this abuse, who convinced half the town I was dangerous and hateful — people like you never questioned — are now restricted with a stay-away order, part of the bail conditions. You all are directly responsible for that. Hennessey threw my phone in the river, the phone that had just recorded the assault. Zachary Livingston provided the testimony that assured their malicious counterclaims describing the incident were desperate cover stories to hide their violent attack.
Since I have become the de facto defender of the frightened populace, I had no choice but to create the permanent public record of the institutional failure that worked to silence me and anyone else who dares speak. The website is that record. It cannot be edited, erased, or spun by the same institutions that caused the problem in the first place.
The menu on the left of my site will guide you to the deep analysis, assessment, and synthesis. The synthesis sections provide the solutions to the spiraling insularity and incompetence in our leadership. The petition for a full independent investigation into the SPD is forthcoming. Meantime, Chief Barwell is hoping for a raise for his “fantastic crew” — the same crew whose detective, Tucker Jenkins, just lost qualified immunity in federal court for fabricating a false narrative, exactly as he and Pettengill did to me in March 2023, consolidating Hennessey’s three years of false allegations into one report for Criminal Harassment, having never met me in their lives. The clerk magistrate ruled NO PROBABLE CAUSE, but Jenkins never made any corrective measures, allowing the Hennessey Klan to continue their abuse, which led directly to the assault.
Bardwell defended the malfeasance and said he could not charge Hennessey with false police reports — that I should take it to the Attorney General. Tell me you don’t know your job without telling me. Yes, I have that on video.
Chief calls this “just a song.” She wants to strangle somebody, but to the leader of our law enforcement, an explicit call for violence by the daughter of the lunatics who are now legally restricted equals just a song. It is witness intimidation by the same person who also unabashedly showed her own violent and caustic attitude toward me in 2020.
The ledger is logged, and will be updated as new data rolls in. Since the Recorder acts more like a gatekeeper for the abusers, I am initiating my own reporting system — one that cannot be corrupted by institutional inertia seemingly designed to cover for the bad actors.
Linked is the front-page article with a giant image of Brook and Catherine, the same day the April 7 arraignment was announced. Hennessey regularly claimed she was afraid to go out in public because of me. She was also in the front row of the music event at Floodwater just before the assault. You do the math. The article title ‘It’s art and community’: Winter HooPla celebrates 10 years in Shelburne Falls" could not ring more ironic, considering it was elements of this very "community" who destroyed a prominent community oriented and commissioned artist, who had spent those same 10 years building goodwill. They tore it down with one false light video, in which they were shown committing multiple misdemeanors, while calling me a racist disruptor.
This week the BOFC soil fiasco is being dealt with. All we have so far from the Recorder is a quote from a volunteer, not a Bridge Chair: “(the volunteer) said the soil that was used last year did not support plant growth as well as the committee had hoped, so they decided to replace it.” Which appears to be an attempt to gaslight the public into thinking it was a “plants not thriving” issue. According to my own on-street interview today, the contractors informed me the cost is about $60K, and they put the decision squarely on the committee — that the BOFC provided the soil specifications. I am relieved, since I support the engineers and builders who did an exemplary job attacking an extremely unorthodox set of procedures.
Using 100% organic matter as “soil” on an internationally acclaimed landmark in the middle of a National Historic District is the absolute peak of incompetence. Especially considering myself, a longtime contributor and collaborator with a Cornell degree in horticulture and 40 years in the field, who took a semester-long course on Soil Science, was not consulted. Likely because they had decided six years ago I was a “racist, hateful disruptor” — the low-information claims of an 18-year-old degenerate they swallowed like gospel and went to press with it. There also happens to be a leading agricultural university in Amherst they might have engaged with. Nope. To compound the satire, word on the street is the paid gardeners themselves were elbowed out of the conversation midway.
So who made the decision? The public deserves to know. This perfectly illustrates why the BOFC is an antiquated form of governance that has directly led to my cancellation and 60 grand in extra costs that so far nobody knows who coughs up the cash.
